‘The Loop’ Short Film Release
We’ve had the pleasure of working with producer Whitney Crowder on the new short film ‘The Loop’. The 20-minute film packs in maximum thrills and suspense as it explores a fictional online community where people trade murders as a mutual favor. Mirrortone Studios was responsible for the sounds of tension in the mix, sound design, and even some ADR to capture the voicings of the climactic fight scene. The production is based in LA but we were able to have Whitney and co-star Jenette Nelligan in our New York City recording studio to record the ADR.
As part of our full-service audio offerings, Roman Molino Dunn (aka Electropoint) took on the role of composer for the film score. Roman worked closely with Adam Hardman, the film’s writer and director, to bring the perfect pairing of music to the outstanding cinematography. We think you’ll find the result is an engrossing thrill ride through this dark tale.
