As a recording studio we need to have the latest and greatest recording software and, while we have a lot of different ones, we do most of our recording in Pro Tools. Pro Tools is an industry standard tracking and mixing software, and we love to keep things as high quality as possible. We use Pro Tools 10 HD but have Pro Tools 11 available if our clients bring in newer sessions. We have decided not to use Pro Tools 11 yet until they fix the bugs that are so common with new releases.
One of our head producers/engineers has worked for many years as a third party developer for Avid, both Sibelius and Pro Tools, so we have an intimate knowledge (even at the code level) of Pro Tools that you will be hard pressed to find at any other recording studio in NYC.
